We first stumbled across kalkan in 2008 and like a lot of people fell in love with it’s narrow winding streets, roof top restaurants and most of all the local people. For the first time ever we decided to return to a holiday destination for a second time, and so a year or so after our first visit returned only to find that the place grew on us even more, (something that we didn’t think possible!)
It was on our 3rd visit that we decided that we wanted to buy our own slice of paradise and were lucky enough to witness the constuction of the old town apartment block, and so returned later that year to look at property and eventually buy what is today Saray apartment, (meaning Palace.) Since then we have returned many many times and have an ever increasing circle of Turkish friends.
We hope that you will enjoy our little slice of paradise and like us return again and again.

2 wonderful weeks at Saray in July/Aug 2023 – first time staying here since watching it being built many years ago.
Perfect location with the Old Town a 2 minute stroll away, the harbour only 5 minutes. Views from the balconies are spectacular, easily some of the best in Kalkan.
The pool area is lovely and relaxed, generally quiet despite sharing with a few other apartments – the pool is a great size, plenty big enough. Often had the pool to ourselves.
The apartment is clean, modern and comfortable. A/c in all areas a great bonus in the summer months. Plus wifi in all areas, even extending to the pool. Main balcony has a small kitchenette to keep your drinks cold!
Tim has been great, friendly and responsive, and even popped over to say hello on arrival as he was on holiday at the time.
All in all a great property in a great location, would certainly stay again.
